Zodeen / Dashboards and honest forecasts
Every chart states its finding, and every forecast says how sure it is
The overview is an exhibit index: each chart’s headline says what it shows, and opens full size. Forecasts come from 1,000 simulated finishes, not a guess.
The problem
Dashboards full of charts nobody reads, and a single go-live date everyone knows is wrong.
How it works
Six key numbers
Status, work on schedule, go-live forecast, open risks, tests passing and team load, at the top of every project.
An exhibit index
Burn-up, workstreams, Gantt, capacity heatmap, risk matrix and go-live histogram, each with a headline that states its finding. Click one to see it full size.
Honest forecasts
A Monte Carlo of 1,000 finishes (remaining work 15% faster to 35% slower) gives the P50 and P85 dates and the chance of going live on time.
Every project
The Projects tab shows the whole portfolio: status, work on schedule, go-live, phase, risks and lead.
Risks with evidence
A RAID log (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), a 5 × 5 matrix, and the team pulse.
An example: Brightway’s portfolio
- Four projects on one shared team: the app launch, the payroll migration, the customer summit and the support agent rollout.
- The app launch shows its chance of going live on time, the date it reaches half the time, and the date it reaches 85% of the time.
- The biggest risk, “cloud test environment is unstable before code freeze”, sits top right of the matrix, flagged by several people.
The value
- Charts that say what they mean.
- Dates you can plan around.
- The whole portfolio in one look.
In the product
- The overview: six numbers, Isabella’s read, and her top suggestion.
- Projects: the whole portfolio in one table.
- The exhibit index: every chart’s finding, one click from full size.
- Go-live histogram from 1,000 simulated finishes.
- Burn-up: work done against the plan.
- Gantt: the critical path at a glance.
- Capacity heatmap across every project.
- Risk matrix: probability by impact; bigger dots, more people flagged it.
- Workstreams: progress against plan.
- The RAID log and the team pulse.
